Playing with Artrage’s new update for desktop (Studio Pro 3.5)…done on the sooooooo heavy modbook (after eons…lol…im so partial to my lightweight phone and ipad) modbook/stylus/Artrage
Every now and then, I get on the Modbook (which was technically my iPad, before the iPad was released…its mobile, but it weighs as much a macbook…HEAVYYYYY! Since I paint on the smaller devices, i typically use it more as a computer. like right now, i’m writing this post on it…lol ) Anyway, Artrage just released a new update for the desktop version. Wanted to test it out. Quite impressive. The dry media (pencils, chalk, etc) seem tohave more true to life interaction with the texture of the canvas now. Not to mention, it has a scripting feature (record and playback, stroke by stroke. Unfortunately, I failed to realize that it doesn’t automatically record. You have to turn it on…so this painting has no video. I may go back in a few days and do another. For now, gotta get back to my “Stylectrical” pieces on the iPad.
